Backed by the sounds and swell of the North Atlantic Ocean, protagonist, Theophilus (Theo) Ogbhemhe will narrate the story of how he found himself championing social justice at the heart of a secluded Scottish island community. The film will trace his journey from post-colonial Nigeria to the rugged Orkney Islands. It is here Theo will bring together a musical ensemble formed of locals and internationals alike – together they will perform in a secluded village hall. The pioneering educator seeks to challenge discrimination, promote equality, and make society ‘a better place for everyone’.

This is video installation which is part of a collaborative exhibition titled Idols, Walls & I. Shown are the paintings of Victor Eadie alongside photographs and a short film by Blair Kemp. In the film Victor speaks of the book ‘The Artists Way’ which helped him with creative recovery. ‘Idols, Walls & I’ was made with an aim to reinforce the importance of the arts.
